Join us to create some amazing memories with your sweetheart Panther students!
Dance the night away on Friday, February 16 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together, let loose, and have fun in a safe and engaging environment!

What is The Sweetheart Dance? 
The Sweetheart Dance is your chance to dance the night away with your special little sweetheart! This event is a student & parent (or other caring adult) dance, open to all VPE students in grades K through 5.
Who can attend?
We cordially invite all VPE students, grades K through 5th, along with at least one caring adult. Because we want to make this a special and unique event for you and your student, younger/older siblings who are not enrolled at VPE will not be admitted.
Can I drop off my child at the dance?
No. A parent or other adult MUST remain with the student at the event. This is not a "drop-off" dance.
What is the parking situation?
Event parking will be plentiful and free at the venue.
Will dinner be served?
Yes! Dinner, desserts, and drinks are all included in the ticket price. Dinner will consist of a Taco Bar, catered by Hy-Vee. No alcohol will be served at this event.
What should we wear to the dance?
Dressing up is FUN, but completely optional. Come dressed to your own COMFORT level!
How much are tickets? Tickets are now SOLD OUT

Tickets ordered online are $40 per couple - 1 student & 1 adult.

Add-on tickets are available for additional adults ($15) and/or students ($10).

Tickets sold "at the door" will be $50 per couple and $20 per additional adult or student - as capacity allows!

Will tickets be available on the day of the event?
We're sorry, but since we have reached capacity, tickets will not be available on the day of the event.
We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available to purchase at the door. We are VERY close to our MAX capacity (as of 2/12/24). We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance/online so that we are able to provide enough food & drinks for all guests.
