2026 Paws for a Cause Fun Run Fundraiser

We're excited to kick off the 2026 Paws for the Cause Fun Run Fundraiser!
Not many know this, but our Fun Run fundraisers have raised more than $30,000 in past years. However, the fundraising platforms we used took almost 50% of the money raised as a fee. THAT'S STEEP! This year, we're trying something new. VPE PTO volunteers are running the fundraiser entirely in-house, which means 100% of every dollar raised stays at VPE!
We'll kick off our fundraising efforts with a student pep rally on Sept. 11 and hold our Fun Run on Sept. 18. We'll offer daily classroom prizes, individual fundraising prizes, individual drawing prizes and a grade-level finale prize!
Parents are welcome to attend on Sept. 18 to watch and cheer on their kids. Only registered volunteers will be allowed to help on the course. Volunteer for the Fun Run
2026 Paws for a Cause Fun Run Race Schedule

| Race 3 | 2:40 p.m.-3:20 p.m. | 4th and 5th grade |
Donations will be accepted Sept. 11-20 and will directly fund and support:
- Teacher grants and classroom reimbursements
- New student enrichment programs
- Elevated staff appreciation efforts
- Additional PTO-funded activities
As the PTO's largest source of income, the Paws for the Cause Fun Run Fundraiser helps make SO many great things possible at our school! We appreciate your support and donations in advance.
