The Carnival is open ALL of our friends in the community, so please invite your families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy the festivities!

Admission

All attendees will need a wristband to enter the carnival, with the exception of the kiddos 2 & under.

  • $10 per student (K-12)

  • $4 for preschool ages (3-5)

  • $4 for adults

  • children under 2 & under are free

The Pre-Sale period has ended but you can still purchase tickets at the door.

Additional Costs

While the majority of the activities are included in the cost of admission, there are a few optional costs that you may want to plan for. 

  • Carnival Snacks - we will be selling popcorn ($2), cotton candy ($2), and bottled water ($1); water and snacks are NOT included in the cost of admission.

  • Classroom Basket Raffle - $1 per ticket (see Raffle Ticket pricing above); you do not need to be present to win, but your name and contact information MUST be clearly legible!

Volunteers NEEDED!

The carnival could not happen without help from our amazing parent volunteers! Your involvement is KEY to putting on the best carnival for the kids! Please consider signing up for one or two volunteer shifts. There are many different tasks and times to fit your schedule.

 

As a small token of appreciation, parent volunteers will earn (1) raffle ticket for each hour of volunteering.

Classroom Basket Raffle

One of the biggest attractions at the carnival each year is the Classroom Basket! For those of you new to VPE, each class participates in creating a themed basket with items donated by the students and their families. The basket is then raffled off during the carnival. All money raised from the carnival goes to support our fundraising effort for the 2023-2024 school year! 

 

Room Parents will be coordinating and collecting themed basket donations with their classroom families, so be on the lookout for a message from them, or your teacher, in the coming days.

 

Classroom baskets can get competitive! The kids love seeing their baskets come to life and to see who comes up with the best one. Be sure to have fun with this and remember no item is too small!

Parking Information

The VPE South Lot and the Front Drive will be closed for Carnival. Families may park in Cavalry Chapel parking lot AFTER 12:45PM or at Blue Valley North High School. 

 

Please be mindful and do not park in spaces that are marked with Reserve signs.
