The VPE PTO Fall Carnival is coming to town Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the VPE parking lot.

 

This fun-filled event is open to everyone in the community, so invite your family, friends and neighbors to join the festivities!

Admission

All attendees will need a wristband to enter the carnival.

Presale

Presale ends Friday, Sept. 25, at 11:59 p.m.

  • $10 per student (K-12)
  • $8 for preschool (ages 3 to 5)
  • $5 for adults
  • Children 2 and under are free
  • Bonus: One basket raffle ticket for each prepaid admission

Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased online during the presale and at the carnival.

Additional Costs

While most activities are included with admission, a few optional costs are worth planning for:

  • Chatime: A selection of boba teas will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the PTO.
  • KC Treat Truck: The KC Treat Truck is back with carnival favorites, including funnel cakes, pretzels, pulled pork, hot dogs, nachos, shaved ice, lemonade and bottled drinks. The PTO will also sell a limited number of bottled waters in the cafeteria.
  • Classroom Basket Raffle: Purchase raffle tickets for $1 each for a chance to win a themed classroom basket. You do not need to be present to win, but your name and contact information must be clearly legible.
  • Teddy Bear Mobile KC: Choose from panthers, bears, rainbow-hued creations and more. Each stuffed animal is $15 plus tax, with outfits starting at $6. All proceeds benefit the PTO.

Volunteers Needed

Calling all volunteers! We need your help to make the Fall Carnival a success. Please consider signing up for one or more volunteer shifts to help make this event fun for everyone.

Classroom Basket Raffle

One of the biggest attractions at the carnival each year is the classroom basket. For families new to VPE, each class creates a themed basket with items donated by students and their families. The baskets are then raffled off during the carnival. All money raised supports the PTO's fundraising efforts for the school year.

 

Room parents will coordinate and collect themed basket donations with their classroom families, so watch for a message from them or your teacher in the coming days.

Classroom baskets can get competitive! Kids love seeing their baskets come to life and seeing who comes up with the best one. Have fun with it, and remember, no item is too small. More information is coming soon!

Parking Information

The VPE south lot and front drive will be closed for the carnival. Families may park in the Calvary Chapel parking lot at Blue Valley North High School.

 

Please do not block neighborhood driveways or park in spaces marked "Reserved."
