Welcome Panther Community!

On behalf of the Valley Park Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), welcome to our school!  The VPE PTO is a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators and support staff  dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of each and every VPE student.  We work hard to make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers and parents.

The purpose of our organization is to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community; to aid in welcoming new and established families to our school so there may be a better working relationship among patrons; to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth; and to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and cultural education.

A united effort means we need parents, guardians and grandparents to join the PTO and get involved. You can chair a committee or just volunteer to bring snacks to a class party. You can oversee a cake walk at the school carnival or help set up books for the book fair. There is something for everyone who wants to help provide a meaningful, positive experience for our students.

All PTO members are welcome to attend our board meetings, held four times each school year: August 26, November 18, March 9 and May 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the VPE library.
